UERJ Geophysical Society Student Chapter

   Between October 9 and 11, the 1st Workshop of Geophysics applied to Geological Exploration took place in the auditorium Pedro de Césero of the Department of Stratigraphy and Paleontology (DEPA) of the State University of Rio de Janeiro. More than a hundred people were present on the three days of the Workshop, divided between lectures and mini-courses, with notable approval of the participants and speakers of the event which led the organization to commit to future editions of the event.     

   The main highlight was the panel discussion entitled "Labor Market for Exploratory Geology: the new regulatory framework  for mining and new pre-salt bidding rounds", where four professionals were called to speak and talk with participants about the job market in both the oil and mining fields and on how to put together a good resume.
